I am going to have a Jacuzzi.

Why the hell not eh?

Sundays are a day of rest after all.

Tis Sunday, Tis wet. Meh

Sunday mood. laid back and tired.

That bottle of Green Goblin oak aged cider seems to be evaporating rather quickly.

There also appear to be a load of episodes of Top Gear on channel "Dave" on freeview, which is good.

The rain is making smoking a soggy experience but we have the technology of dryness (an umbella) and a determination to smoke not seen since the last time I wanted a giggie.

Still remembering scenes from the gig last night. Some very attractive women. Some blokes and their sons in alice eye make up. A good friend I have not been to an event with in far too long. It makes you smile.

Done the lazy picking at a guitar part of the day. Even did my good deed and single handely manhandled an old arm chair downstairs from Mr S's study to the lounge without breaking anything. It was the least I could do.

S&F need the space as they have another guest next weekend besides me (heheheheh)

Well, as this post has been a regular laugh riot, I will stop now and maybe go put the les paul away, as it is on the dinning room table at the moment and we need it clear for the roast pheasant dinner we are having later. Shot on Mrs F's own estate by Mr S. Not.

Gigage.

by Old-Nick @ 2007-11-18 - 01:45:35

Just back from seeing Joan Jett, Motorhead and Alice Cooper at Wembley and am sat at this here pc with a bowl of nuts and a mug of hot rum punch.

Met Kizlode at the gig as he was having my spare ticket and the lovely fella got me a tour T-shirt to say thanks. It was good to see him again and especially at a gig.

Well,

Joan Jet was ok, sleezy low slung rock as you would expect but half way through her set Kiz and I slipped out to have a catch up chat. There was a very wide age range reperesented at the gig, parents with kids - some of the kids looked about 9 ish, and some old school rockers. For once we didn't feel we were baby sitting!

Then it was time for motorhead. As normal, the first thing you heard was a massive "THRUNNNGGG!" from Lemmys bass and then he spake - "Alright!" the crowd said "Yaaay"

Lemmy said "Are you having a good time?"

The crowd said "Yes!"

Lemmy said "Well we'll soon put a stop to that! WE ARE MOTORHEAD AND WE PLAY ROCK AND ROLL!"

And they cracked into "Dr Rock" and slammed out a set of pure noisey energy. You don't attend a Motorhead gig, you submit to it - they are the dom and your the sub and you WILL take whatever they throw at you, including a cover of Thin Lizzys "Rosalie" and an accoustic number!

Then alice, well he started by killing himself and ended up hanging himself. So all in all, a good gig. I think his voice is even more fucked than it was but it was still good.

Anyway, time to go eat some natchos.
