After all the eating of the chinese food and a few pubs and after meeting the moff and giving her her birthday prezzies and then being booted out into the cold so she could cook for her boyfreind, we went pubwards.

First the Moo, or the Meadow Bar. It used to have a sign outside with a cow on it hence its nickname.

Next The Doctors, which is by the old Medical School

Then the Last Drop, which had a seven foot security guard outside and I was too scared to take a piccie of him, even though he was a nice chap.

Then to our old favourite, The Ensign Ewart

Then a last drink in the Cherry Tree.

We were on our way to The Auld Hoose after here, but someones unstopable hunger for deep fried food prevented us from getting there before 12.45 when it shuts. Just as well reeeely because by then we were a tad drinkied.

Ahem.

Autumnal and gothic.

On top of Carlton Hill stands this. What is it for? Nothing! it is a "folly" just put there to loom over the city. Certain people in our party may or may not have had sex against and/or on this erection in their mispent youth.

From up on Carton hill you can look down at the cemetary.

Which is all a bit like this inside.

Now I don't want you to get the impression that all we did was hang around in graveyards looking moody.

But........ this is Greyfiars Kirkyard, which is where the legendary mutt "Greyfriars Bobby" is burried.

(Adopts voice of comic book guy from the simpsons) "Could it be any more, Gothyer?"

Ahem.

Anyway on Saturday morning, before the evening of the curry pig out and mini pub crawl, Mrs F and I went for a walk up Salisbury Crags, which is the big cliff just 10 minutes from Moffs flat. Very steep and very vertical it is, but the view across to the castle is worth the danger of falling and splattage.

Now I know you wanted pictures of bad behaviour and deep fried objects being eaten and people looking a little "with drink" but there are none!

Well, maybe a few. And maybeeeeee, later friends only.

But only if you sit through another 17 or so scenic posts like good little children.

Tch, just kidding.

Warning!

I is back!

And despite dropping my camera outside the chipshop were a certain greedyguts was getting a deep fried crunchy scant minutes after downing a portion of deep fried haggis and chips, it still works.

So pictureage is imminent.

Now would be a good time to go out, or pour a pint of water into your pc.
