And so...

by Old-Nick @ 2007-04-30 - 20:11:48

The new years (beltain) celebrations begin!

:>

Could be suffering tomorrow. If we do it right of course.

In other news, Cleopatra - one of S&F's cats - leapt from the floor onto my left shoulder blade and clung on with her claws as I was sat at the pc earlier. She would have made the asscent to the top of my shoulder, had I not screamed like a girl!

So she spun around, using more claws for purchase and launched herself back off into the hall way. Little cow!

She is still my favourite though.

No no no, I am a sadist - but cleo is my favorite cat because out of the two of them, she is the one that like me to make a fuss of her more and curls up in my lap purring away happily.

And a happy pussey in your lap is worth a bird in the bush.

or something.

Mira, obviously the above comment was from me, but as I am at S&F's the pc has confused our ID's and in fact I am the sadist. Mrs F, is a seventh day advent hopist or something.

This is all part of the ritual of bringing in the New Year, then?

Blatant Sex. In the garden I suppose. With whoever takes your fancy.......

Aaaaaaaand - are you absolutly sure Beltane celebrates a NEW YEAR! Isn't it just a Summer season thing?

Things generally mean what you want them to mean.

I suppose it depends whether you are a witch, a pagan, a neo pagan, a wiccan, or just a traditionalist.

But technically yes, it is the start of the New Year in that the Old God is dying and is renewed by the Spring maiden. So for him it is a New Year. Since the destiny of the earth is linked to the destiny of the God if he dies the earth dies and so that is the end really (for all of us - apocalypse now!).

Aaaaagh! please excuse me but this mead is very very strong especially when drunk in tandem with Old Rosie Scrumpy.

Ah! Right that clears that up, then!

I think!

I'll have to have a read up on the matter - but thankyou for the help and answer. You sound like the REAL Mrs. F. cos there is no way 'HIM' would say:_ 'please excuse me'.

Nighty night - hope you all don't get too drunk - wifey.

Goodmorning wifey. Yeah I am definitely Mrs F and my head hurts.

I dunno if you are a pagan/wiccan/witch/traditionalist/agnostic/
christian/whatever yourself, but depending, you might find this reference kindda helpful (or not).

Have a good day.

I would sympathise about your head but YOU KNOW you brought it upon yourself so don't come crying to me for sympathy (as me Mum would say). :)

I do not believe or have faith in any religion or craft at all.

I'm more inclined to go for the science of the universe and all that jazz.

However I know that humans are rather clever at understanding themselves through the prism of their psyche/myths/stories and various practices.

Thankyou for the link - I did have a quick gander at Wikipedia last night also cos I had an idea about the new year stuff as being at a different time of the year (November maybe??).

Am having a good day - bye bye. wifey.
